Welcome to "Frontiers in Water Biophysics"

The 7^th Workshop and School on Frontiers in Water Biophysics (FWB) will take place in Erice, Sicily (Italy), on JULY 2-7, 2025 , in the ETTORE MAJORANA FOUNDATION AND CENTRE FOR SCIENTIFIC CULTURE (EMFCSC), in the frame of the XXVII Course of the International School of Statistical Physics (Directors: Peter Hanggi, Fabio Marchesoni).

This event is also a STATPHYS29 SATELLITE MEETING and will include a COST Action EuMINe Training School on Machine Learning in Hydrated Biosystems (on July, 5-7, 2025).

The conference offers opportunities for presentation and discussion of the most up-to-date research in the field of water structure and dynamics at the nanoscale and mesoscale, properties which make water a unique molecule in all aspects of human life. Main topics will cover the active role of water in food, pharmaceutical and life sciences, and on their related technological aspects.
